2015 1er Cru Les Rugiens Bas
"There is just enough wood present to mention, framing the cool, pure and beautifully complex dark currant, red cherry, spice and whiff of the sauvage. As is usually the case with Rugiens, the big-bodied flavors still manage to be finer than those of a typical Chaponnières and notably more mineral-inflected while delivering superb depth and length. I very much like the mouth feel and this is both classy and stylish." - Burghound "Outstanding"

2015 Raisins Dores
Raisins Dores -- "An exuberantly fresh, ripe and spicy nose introduces fleshy, even juicy, flavors that possess good volume on the clean, delicious and nicely dry finish. This should drink well almost immediately." - 86-88pts Burghound
$27.00 Stock9
2017 Les Epenots
Les Epenots -- "Once again there are ample wood and menthol notes surrounding the more elegant nose of ripe red berries, spice and warm earth nuances. The caressing and delicious flavors are not as dense but they're definitely more refined and I particularly like the texture of the impressively persistent finish. This needs to add depth but it seems like a relatively sure bet that it will. Lovely." - 91-93pts/Sweet Spot Burghound

2015 Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru Aux Malconsorts
Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru Aux Malconsorts -- "This too is notably ripe yet manages to remain wonderfully fresh with its super-spicy aromas of red currant, cherry, raspberry and lavender. There is terrific verve and power to the big-bodied, mineral-driven and concentrated flavors that deliver superb depth and length on the almost painfully intense finale. However despite all of the concentration and overt muscularity this very, very firmly structured effort remains faultlessly well-balanced though note well that this is going to require an extended snooze in a cool cellar. This is reference standard Malconsorts." - 95pts/Outstanding from the Burghound

2015 Romanee Saint-Vivant Grand Cru
Romanee Saint-Vivant Grand Cru -- "An overtly floral, elegant and airy nose displays a huge array of spice elements on the red currant, cherry, tea, hoisin and lavender scents. The super-refined middle weight flavors possess a gorgeously sophisticated mouth feel that is at once silky yet packing plenty of punch that continues onto the harmonious finish where the persistence lasts for several minutes. I was knocked out by the palate impression because when RSV is "on", the finesse is unmatched by any of the other grands crus in Burgundy. This is quite simply a 'wow' wine." - 94-97pts/Don't Miss! from the Burghound

2015 Gevrey-Chambertin Bel Air
"A fresh, ripe and very Gevrey nose reflects plenty of earth, sauvage and humus characters on the dark currant and softly floral aromas. There is a lovely sense of underlying tension and minerality to the dusty, precise and sleekly muscular flavors that culminate in a notably firm but not especially austere or backward finale. This should reward up to 10 years of cellaring yet be approachable after 5 or so." - 91pts/Outstanding from the Burghound
$115.00 Stock1
2015 Les Pruliers
Les Pruliers -- "This is often Taupenot's best 1er and in 2015 it is again with its brooding aromas of spice, earth, the sauvage, cassis and plum that exhibit interesting wisps of leather and smoke. There is outstanding concentration and muscle to the punchy medium weight plus flavors that conclude in a beautifully long and notably firm finish of focused power and seriously good depth. This balanced effort is built-to-age and will need it. Check it out." - 93pts/Outstanding, Burghound
$115.00 Stock10
2014 Bel Air
Bel Air -- "A cool, pure and restrained nose displays the attractively fresh essence of red pinot fruit, lavender and discreet earth nuances. There is equally good freshness and detail to the utterly delicious, complex and mineral-driven medium-bodied flavors that display a taut muscularity as well as a sophisticated mouth feel thanks to the fine-grained tannins shaping the saline and impressively intense finish. This too is really quite good and worth checking out." - 92pts/Outstanding BH
