2017 Village
Village -- "Whereas the famous Cinq Terroirs cuvée from Domaine Denis Mortet hails from the Brochon side of Gevrey-Chambertin, Arnaud Mortet's 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin Village hails from the southern end of the appellation, giving a sunnier, more open-knit expression of Gevrey. The wine offers up aromas of plums, cherries and dark chocolate, subtly framed by new wood, followed by a medium-bodied, ample and giving palate that will offer immediate gratification to the impatient." - Wine Advocate

2018 Ma Cuvée
Ma Cuvée -- "The 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin Village comes from four hectares of old vines worked by Arnaud Mortet himself. It has a crisp, focused bouquet, quite mineral-driven, with so much freshness. The very well-defined palate features pure red and black fruit tinged with brown spice. Silky-smooth on the finish, this feels very complete and harmonious. Superb." - 91-93pts Vinous

"The 2017 Richebourg Grand Cru comes from 0.6 hectares of vine in the lieu-dit of Le Véroilles and is matured in 90% new oak. There is a touch of reduction on the nose, although it dissipates with aeration in the glass to reveal ample blackberry and raspberry fruit, crushed stone and just a touch of black truffle. The medium-bodied palate displays fine tannin and impressive balance. Not as powerful as the 2015 that wowed back at the Burgfest tasting, but it fans out beautifully toward the finish. This is a Richebourg of great purity and grace." - 94-96pts Vinous

From Bussières, Chardannes, Les Herbues and Les Gamaires -- "This too is firmly reduced. The mouthfeel of the delicious flavors is definitely more refined and with a bit more minerality on the firm and balanced finish that will also benefit from a few years of bottle age." - 87-89pts Burghound

2011 Les Hautes Mazieres
Les Hautes Mazieres - "An attractively fresh and ripe nose of mostly red berry fruit liqueur aromas is nuanced by notes of violet and rose petal. The palate impression of the medium-bodied flavors is energetic, detailed and concentrated before concluding in a supple, round and delicious finish that displays a lovely vibrancy along with a touch of youthful austerity. A lovely villages." - BH Outstanding
