NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Cuvée Vendémiaire
Brut Blanc de Blancs Cuvée Vendémiaire -- "The NV Brut Premier Cru Cuvée Vendémiaire is a Chardonnay from five villages of the Côte des Blancs but is mainly sourced in Vertus (50%). The recent disgorgement from early 2018 (dosage: four grams per liter) is based on the 2012 vintage and includes 50% of reserve wines from vintages 2011 down to 2008. Intensely citrus colored, this is a pure, fresh, concentrated, very mineral and pure Chardonnay that still offers greenish citrus flavors. With great finesse and complexity on the palate, it is very elegant and pure as well as very long and expressive, with intense, powerful and well-concentrated but fresh and highly finessed fruit and vitality. There is lots of energy and tension here, lots of expression and length. Great complexity and vitality. This has huge aging potential. A great wine, indeed." - 94pts WA

2013 Rosé de Saignée Rubis de la Dune
"The 2013 Extra Brut Rosé de Saignée Rubis de la Dune really sizzles with power, depth and vibrancy, making it the most complete of the three wines I tasted from Charlot this year. Rubis de la Dune is 80% Meunier and 20% Pinot Noir from vines in Mardeuil planted in 1955. Rich, creamy and ample, the 2013 offers superb resonance and all the character these old vines have to offer. It is such a gorgeous and alluring Champagne. Dosage: 4.5 gr/L. Disgorged: January, 2019." - 93pts Vinous

2015 Rose de Saignee Extra Brut
"Laherte’s NV (2015) Extra Brut Rosé de Saignée Les Beaudiers VV is 100% Meunier from vines planted in 1953, 1958 and 1965. Creamy and resonant on the palate, with tremendous aromatic depth, the Beaudiers is flat-out gorgeous. Sweet red cherry, mint, kirsch, game and dried herbs infuse the 2015 with myriad layers of complexity that reveal themselves with time in the glass. The 2015 spent two years in barrel prior to bottling, which is long by Champagne standards. More importantly, though, it is a wine of tremendous personality and pure breeding. Dosage: 3 gr/L." - 95pts Vinous

2011 Vieille Vigne du Levant Extra Brut
Vieille Vigne du Levant Extra Brut ---- "I'm increasingly convinced that Pierre Larmandier produced Champagne's wines of the vintage this year, and the 2011 Extra-Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Vieille Vigne du Levant only compounds that suspicion. Unfurling in the glass with a deep and complex nose of citrus zest, crisp yellow apples, smoke, warm bread, mandarin oil and oyster shell, it's full-bodied and fleshy but incisive, with huge concentration, bright acids and a long, intensely saline finish. Totally transcending the reputation of 2011, it has many of the textural properties of a great white Burgundy, married with the cut and chalky grip of Champagne's Côte de Blancs." - 97pts WA

2016 Frizante

The "free-run" grape juice is fermented in a closed tank so as to retain all the fermenting gas. Aged 3 to 4 months in closed stainless steel tank.

NV Cuvee de Reserve Blanc de Blancs
100% Cote de Blancs Chardonnay. Rodolphe Péters took the reins of this venerable estate in the southern Côte des Blancs in 2008, becoming the fourth generation to lead since the estate was founded in 1919 under the name Camille Péters. Today, Rodolphe owns 20 hectares ofvineyards, predominantly in the Grand Cru of Les Mesnil-sur-Oger. Péters owns small holdings in several other Grand Crus (Oger, Avize and Cramant) but Les Mesnil-sur-Oger is where a majority of the parcels he farms are located. "These are sleek, racy champagnes, expressing a classic character of Côte des Blancsb Chardonnay. They are marked by their fine acidity and prominent minerality, yet while they are always brisk and chalky, they are rarely austere, with the possible exception ofcertain vintages of the Cuvée Spéciale. All of the wines go through malolactic, due totheir naturally high acidities. "We have a lot of acidity and a lot of minerality in all ourwines," says Rodolphe Péters. "We want to build the structure of our wines around both acidity and minerality, not acidity alone." -Peter Liem, Champagneguide.net
