2017 Les Epenots
Les Epenots -- "Once again there are ample wood and menthol notes surrounding the more elegant nose of ripe red berries, spice and warm earth nuances. The caressing and delicious flavors are not as dense but they're definitely more refined and I particularly like the texture of the impressively persistent finish. This needs to add depth but it seems like a relatively sure bet that it will. Lovely." - 91-93pts/Sweet Spot Burghound

2010 Beaune 1er Rouge
"Strong reduction knocks down the nose but there is excellent volume and phenolic maturity to the supporting structure shaping the suave and mouth coating flavors that are perhaps the richest of any of these Beaune 1ers. The volume and energy are impressive as is the length and this should age for many years." - 90-92/Outstanding Burghound

2019 1er Cru Les Jarollieres
1er Cru Les Jarollieres ---- "This is also beautifully layered with its ripe and equally fresh nose reflects notes of roasted purple fruit, warm earth and an unusual hint of hoisin. The succulent, round and relatively refined flavors possess fine mid-palate volume along with a similar taut muscularity before terminating in a youthfully austere finish that is shaped by a very firm tannic spine. This too is excellent and a wine that should amply repay extended keeping." - 93pts/Sweet Spot Outstanding, Burghound

2020 Chassagne-Montrachet
"This is also sufficiently ripe to partially display fruit from the yellow side of the spectrum along with spice, citrus confit and floral scents. The rich and solidly concentrated medium-bodied flavors are at once succulent yet nicely detailed while delivering impressive persistence on the balanced and youthfully austere finale. Once again, more depth would be beneficial but again, that should reasonably occur. In a word, lovely." - 92pts/Outstanding, Burghound
