Gevrey-Chambertin ---- "A markedly floral-suffused and exuberantly fresh combination is composed by notes of various red berries, earth and a hint of underbrush. The seductively textured, rich and generously proportioned mid-plate of the middle weight flavors contrasts with the firm, muscular and moderately austere finale. Village -- "Whereas the famous Cinq Terroirs cuvée from Domaine Denis Mortet hails from the Brochon side of Gevrey-Chambertin, Arnaud Mortet's 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin Village hails from the southern end of the appellation, giving a sunnier, more open-knit expression of Gevrey. The wine offers up aromas of plums, cherries and dark chocolate, subtly framed by new wood, followed by a medium-bodied, ample and giving palate that will offer immediate gratification to the impatient." - Wine Advocate

"A cooler and distinctly earthy nose reticently offers up its aromas of red and dark currant along with a hint of the sauvage. There is once again excellent volume and punch to the solidly concentrated medium weight flavors that seem to be built on a base of minerality, all wrapped in a moderately austere finale that displays very fine depth and persistence. "A discreet though not imperceptible dollop of wood can be found on the more floral-infused aromas of various red berries, exotic tea and hoisin. The super-sleek medium-bodied flavors possess ample minerality and a taut muscularity while delivering impressive length on the moderately austere, compact and impressively long finale. This is an outstanding Vosne villages that is built-to-age; besides Aux Réas always needs time in bottle and this one will be no exception." - Outstanding, Burghound ---- "A lighter purple. Here the whole bunches show more on the nose, giving a softer touch to the bouquet. Impressive density behind, raspberry and crushed strawberry grow to the back of the palate. Length and some class. 2022  Hautes Cotes de Nuits Blanc

Hautes Cotes de Nuits Blanc - From a rugged, windswept plot with southeast exposure at 400 meters altitude near the town of Arcenant, planted in 2016 and first produced in 2020. Fermented in older oak and aged for 12 months in 30% new barrels without battonage, then bottled by gravity.
