2019 Puligny-Montrachet
"From vines planted in 1955. Pale lemon and lime in colour. A more chiselled nose and a tighter structure on the palate. A less opulent texture is no bad thing in 2019. All in white fruit, with slightly more length than the Champs Gains. An attractive, tensile, finish. Tasted Feb 2021." - 91pts, Jasper Morris MW

2022 Volnay 1er Cru Les Aussy
"A discreet but perceptible dollop of wood sets off an equally pretty and even spicier mélange of ripe red berries trimmed in subtle floral nuances, in particular violet. The delicious and wonderfully refined middleweight flavors are quite graceful thanks to the fine-grained tannins supporting the impressively long finale that fans out as it sits on the palate. If this can add depth with time in bottle, my rating may prove to be too conservative." - Outstanding, Burghound

2010
"Relatively strong reduction dominates the nose at present and prevents a thorough assessment. By contrast, there is good freshness and ample verve to the exceptionally rich, powerful and borderline massive flavors that enjoy support in the form of a very concentrated mid-palate and a notably firm tannic spine that imparts a chewy texture to the hugely long, mouth coating and tannic finish. This is breathtakingly good though like any self-respecting Clos du Roi, to note that it will need plenty of bottle age is largely superfluous.' - 92-95pts BH

2019 Meursault
"Soft wood sets off pretty and nicely layered aromas of poached pear and citrus. Once again there is a borderline painful intensity to the mineral-driven and refined flavors that display outstanding length, and in particular for a villages level wine, on the balanced and youthfully austere finish where the only reproach is a touch of warmth. This is first rate and highly recommended." - 90-93/Outstanding Top Value, Burghound

2020
From Les Pellans, just below Charmes 1er Cru and adjacent to Puligny-Montrachet. Vines planted in 1945. This has been a separate bottling from the VV cuvée since the 2015 vintage. Gentle pressing. Aged 18 months in neutral barrels. ---- "This is at once slightly fresher and a bit more elegant as well with its floral and citrus-suffused nose that display background nuances of browned butter. There is excellent density and better precision to the middle weight flavors that culminate in a youthfully austere and lemony finish that is balanced, long and more complex. This is also an excellent villages and heartily recommended." - Outstanding, Top Value Burghound

2023 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Les Fairendes
Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Les Fairendes ---- "Mid lemon yellow, almost a green tint. Slightly reductive but still with some flesh behind. Young vines here, planted in 2018, but that doesn’t stop the elegance. Lively, floral, a little lime blossom, no great weight but beautifully balanced in pure white fruit. A small crop as they have just switched this to guyot poussard pruning. Drink from 2027-2033. Tasted Nov 2024." - 91-94pts & 4/5 stars, Jasper Morris MW

2023
"The 2023 Beaune Les Cent Vignes 1er Cru mixes nuances of autumnal spice with dried orange peels and sugar-dusted raspberries to form its enticing bouquet. Vibrant yet intense, it has a solid core of crisp red berry fruits and inner rose tones that ride a wave of zesty acidity. The finish is exceptionally long and structured with grippy tannins, leaving a floral persistence and liquid lavender tones to resonate. I love this New World take on Beaune fruit." - 94pts, Vinous

2020 Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge
"Here the nose is displaying some post-bottling reduction so give it some air if you're going to try a bottle young. More interesting are the succulent and round yet decidedly powerful medium-bodied flavors that brim with dry extract that helps to buffer the notably firmer tannic spine shaping the lengthy finish. This is also quite good though note that it will need at least a few years of keeping first." - 91pts/Outstanding, Burghound ---- "Just a little bit more intense in purple but not much. The fruit is balanced and at the perfect pitch of ripeness. Much more powerful on the palate with some black cherry notes as well as a little red fruit, mix of tannins and acidity, neither too prominent. Very different in style from Clos St-Jean but equally a success. Oak shows a little more. 13.3% alcohol Tasted Oct 2021." - 4/5 stars, Jasper Morris MW
