From a 0.65 hectare parcel near the top of the slope south of the village, of which the upper part is the steepest vineyard in Chassagne. Vines planted 1985-1990. Aged 15 months in 228 and 350 L oak barrels, 35% new. ---- "A mild suggestion of the exotic can be found on the aromas of white peach, wet stone, honeysuckle and a hint of spice. There is better underlying tension to the more detailed and markedly more mineral-driven flavors that are quite sleek before culminating in a sneaky long, balanced and dry-in-the-best sense finale.
