"There is a lovely freshness to the distinctly cool aromas of earth, the sauvage, a plethora of floral elements and essence of red currant. There is terrific vibrancy to the tension-filled medium weight flavors that brim with minerality on the highly refreshing finish that is sufficiently rich and pliant that this could be enjoyed after only a few years of bottle age. A quality Fixin villages that is worth checking out." - Outstanding Top Value, Burghound

2017 1er Les Champeaux
1er Cru Les Champeaux -- "Typically one of the broadest-shouldered wines in the cellar, the 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Champeaux was lightly reduced on the day that I tasted it, unwinding in the glass to reveal plenty of red-black fruit and savory nuance. On the palate, the wine was easier to read, displaying a medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated profile, with excellent amplitude, juicy acids and a long, delineated finish. It's a definite success." - 91-93+pts WA -- "This too is strongly reduced. The medium weight and lively flavors possess a comparatively refined mouthfeel and plenty of minerality on the firmer if less muscular finish where a touch of wood toast can be found. This too will require at least some patience and reward up to 15 years of it." - 90-93pts/Outstanding BH

2017 Les Longeroies
Les Longeroies -- "This is attractively fresh and bright with its broader range of aromatic components that include red currant, cherry, spice and soft floral wisps. There is notably better volume and density to the equally delicious medium weight flavors that conclude in a refreshing and naturally sweet finish. This is almost gulpable today yet it has the underlying material and structure to reward 4 to 6 years of cellaring." - 89-91pts BH

"They 2016 Gevrey-Chambertin Mes Cinq Terroirs was reduced by 30% production, with 30% whole bunch and 30% new oak. It has a well-defined blackberry and wild strawberry bouquet with subtle rose petal aromas. The palate is well balanced with supple red cherry and crushed strawberry fruit, just a subtle chalkiness to the texture toward the finish, but a very mineral-rich aftertaste in situ. This is a replica of the brilliant 2015." 92-94 Wine Advocate
