2019 Gevrey-Chambertin
"I was surprised when Loïc Dugat-Py opted to present his 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Petite Chapelle after the domaine's Lavaux Saint-Jacques; but when I tasted the wine, I immediately understood his decision. Offering up an incipiently complex bouquet of wild berries, raspberries, blood orange and spices, it's medium to full-bodied, deep and multidimensional, built around velvety tannins and lively acids. Standing out for its completeness, energy and length, this is the finest Petite Chapelle I've ever tasted from the domaine, and I can't wait to revisit it in bottle." - 93-95+ William Kelley, Wine Advocate

2019 Vieilles Vignes
20+-year-old vines with a small percentage of fruit from very old vines. ---- Blend of 1/3 Mazoyères and 2/3 Charmes-Chambertin ---- 1800 to 2400 bottles produced. ---- 60% whole cluster. ---- "A markedly floral nose is quite pretty with its array of earth, liqueur-like dark berries and lovely spice wisps. There is again outstanding volume to the beautifully textured large-scaled flavors that exude a bracing salinity on the sneaky long and well-balanced if overtly austere finale that displays absolutely stunning length. Here too plenty of patience will be required." - 96pts Burghound ---- "Aromas of orange rind, red cherries, plums, licorice, spices and peonies introduce the 2019 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru, a full-bodied, ample and layered wine that's deep and concentrated, with a generous core of fruit, melting tannins and a long, rose-inflected finish. As ever, this is the domaine's most immediate, sensual grand cru." - 95pts WA

2019 Tres Vieilles Vignes
Tres Vieilles Vignes ---- "There are four barrels of the 2019 Vosne-Romanée Vieilles Vignes, derived as usual from holdings in Les Quartiers de Nuits - from the part of the lieu-dit that is not included within the boundaries of the Echézeaux Grand Cru - and contiguous Les Violettes. Mingling notes of wild berries and raspberries with exotic top notes of mandarin rind, Asian spices and peonies, it's medium to full-bodied, velvety and layered, with a concentrated core of fruit complemented by complexifying carnal nuances." - 91-93pts William Kelley, Wine Advocate ---- "A wonderfully fresh nose combines notes of plum, exotic tea and lovely spice nuances. The suave and sophisticated medium weight flavors possess a caressing palate impression before concluding in a beautifully complex and focused finale that is decidedly firm but not really austere. This is an excellent Vosne villages and worth your interest." - 90-92/Outstanding Top Value, Burghound

"This is the first wine in the range to display reductive notes and while I expect that they are largely due to the very recent bottling, I would suggest decanting this if you're going to crack a bottle in the next 12 months or so. Otherwise there is once again an attractive sleekness to the precise and vibrant medium weight flavors that brim with minerality that really comes to the fore on the impressively complex and persistent finish that is somewhat linear at present. I would expect this to flesh out with bottle age." - 92pts Burghound

2018
"Glistening red. Assertively perfumed cherry, black raspberry, pungent flowers and herbs on the incisive, smoke-tinged nose. Delivers a suave blend of depth and vivacity, offering appealingly sweet red and dark fruit, floral pastille and spicecake flavors that spread out steadily through the back half. Shows fine detail and mineral thrust on the youthfully tannic finish, which clings with outstanding tenacity." - 94pts Vinous
