2018 Chassagne-Montrachet La Romanee
Chassagne-Montrachet 1er La Romanee -- This is aromatically pretty similar to the En Cailleret if perhaps just a bit riper with a hint of mineral reduction. I very much like the mouthfeel of the medium-bodied flavors that display a lovely compromise between richness and precision, all wrapped in an energetic and refreshingly dry, clean and lingering finale. This could use a bit more depth, but more should develop with time in bottle. - 92/Outstanding Burghound

2018 Chassagne-Montrachet En Cailleret
Chassagne-Montrachet 1er En Cailleret - A softly exotic and citrus-suffused nose exhibits additional aromas of matchstick and white peach. There is a more refined mouthfeel to the sleek mineral-driven medium weight flavors that possess even better depth on the balanced, dry and appealingly precise finish. - 91/Oustanding Burghound

2020 Saint-Aubin
"Smoky aromas of various white orchard fruit, citrus confit and a whiff of tea give way to beautifully textured medium weight flavors that exude a subtle minerality on the nicely detailed, youthfully austere and sneaky long finale. This is lovely and the warmth of the 2020 vintage is definitely a plus for such a cool vineyard like Frionnes." - 91pts/Outstanding, Burghound

2020 Chassagne-Montrachet
"Here there is enough post-bottling reduction to render the nose impossible to properly assess. The almost painfully intense and super-sleek middle weight flavors brim with both minerality and sappy dry extract that imparts a beguiling texture as well as buffering the firm citrus-tinged acid spine shaping the impressively persistent and impeccably well-balanced finish. This is really quite stylish and a wine that should amply repay extended cellaring." - 93pts/Outstanding, Burghound

2020 Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge
"Here the nose is displaying some post-bottling reduction so give it some air if you're going to try a bottle young. More interesting are the succulent and round yet decidedly powerful medium-bodied flavors that brim with dry extract that helps to buffer the notably firmer tannic spine shaping the lengthy finish. This is also quite good though note that it will need at least a few years of keeping first." - 91pts/Outstanding, Burghound

"This is aromatically similar to the straight Chassagne though with a touch more floral influence. On the palate of the medium-bodied flavors there is equally good intensity with a slightly sleeker mouthfeel, all wrapped in a solidly persistent, balanced and very dry finale. In the same fashion, this too could use better depth and more should reasonably develop. Provided you have at least some patience, this is one to consider." - 90pts/Outstanding
