2021 Savigny-les-Beaune 1er Cru
"Once again there is enough wood to notice though here it is somewhat more subtle on the cool if reserved aromas of mostly dark cherry, floral and a hint of crushed fennel. There is a seductive, even generous, texture to the rich medium-bodied flavors that offer good if not driving minerality on the bitter pit fruit-inflected finale that is firm enough to repay up to a decade of keeping." - Outstanding, Burghound

2019 Mercurey Blanc
Mercurey Blanc ---- "Very stony soil on top of a bench of clay which retains the humidity. All made in 400 litre barrels, with 30% new. Pale lemon and lime, definite stony tension on the nose, and a little lime blossom. This is firm and concentrated, with good grip behind. The oak shows a little more than in the straight Mercurey but the grip of the wine can handle it. Tasted Mar 2021." - 4/5 stars, Jasper Morris MW

2019 Cote de Nuits 'Armand'
Cote de Nuits 'Armand' ---- "Aromas of cherries, raspberries and plums, complemented by hints of sweet spices and loamy soil. Medium to full-bodied, round and fleshy, it's generous but balanced, with a seamless, gourmand profile." - WK

2022 Villages
"A much more floral-suffused nose speaks of wild red currant, spice and more subtle hints of earth and the sauvage. There is a lovely sense of underlying tension to the rich and suave medium-bodied flavors that retain good detail on the mildly austere and rustic finale." - Burghound

2019
"A blend of lieux-dits Frionnes and Sur Gamay, the 2019 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru mingles notes of pear and waxy citrus rind with hints of almond paste and white flowers. Medium to full-bodied, supple and charming, it's delicately textural and open-knit, concluding with a nicely defined finish." - William Kelley

2021 Les Gravieres
Les Gravieres
2022 Vallee de Coigny
Les Pinots Blacks is a collaboration between four friends: Chablis restauranteur Fabien Espana (previously of Au Fil du Zinc), and three renowned winemakers: Thomas Pico of Domaine Pattes Loup in Chablis, Damien Delecheneau of Domaine de La Grange Tiphaine in the Loire, and Bruno Verret of Domaine Verret in Irancy. The project was born from a common dream to vinify Pinot Noir together, since neither Thomas Pico nor Damien Delecheneau farm this grape variety on their respective properties. With one hectare of Pinot Noir farmed by Bruno Verret, they give deserved attention to lesser-known village of Irancy. This dynamic foursome is producing compelling wines from pocket-sized vineyards.

"The 2020 Chablis Les Fourneaux 1er Cru presents a complex nose of citrus peel, red apple and crushed limestone, plus traces of white peach and a very light pastry/millefeuille scent. The palate is well balanced, taut and linear, with a saline entry. It gains weight and depth toward the finish and leaves lip-smacking salinity on the aftertaste. Excellent." - 91-93pts Vinous
