From a 0.96 hectare parcel in the village of Chassagne, both the Santenay and Puligny sides, planted in 1988, 2001, and 2012. Aged in 10 months in 228 and 350 L oak barrels, 25% new. Unfiltered.

Chassagne-Montrachet ---- "This is also attractively cool and airy with its array of various white orchard fruit, zest and rosemary oil scents. The rich and solidly concentrated medium-bodied flavors exhibit better depth and length on the moderately rustic finale that is notably more tightly wound. The palate is well-balanced with neatly assimilated oak, orange rind and slivers of white peach, leading to a waxy-textured, satisfying finish. "The 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Houillères, located on the border with Puligny, has an understandably Puligny-like bouquet, a little more malic than the Domaine's other cuvées. Cohesive from start to finish with plenty of extract on the finish, this is a well-crafted, quite intense Chassagne-Montrachet that should mature well in bottle." - 92pts Vinous
