2019 Chambolle-Musigny
"Almost invariably the finest wine in the range, Sigaut's 2019 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Sentiers Vieilles Vignes doesn't disappoint, unwinding in the glass with notes of black cherry, wild berries, Indian spices and rose petals. Medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, it's layered and velvety, with excellent concentrated, lively acids and the most integrated profile of all these 2019s." - 93+pts WA

2019 Gevrey-Chambertin
"The 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin "Mes Cinq Terroirs" possesses darker fruit than the Cuvée de Très Vieilles Vignes, blackberry commingled with bilberry and briary, more sous-bois characteristics and a very light slate-like aroma. The palate is medium-bodied with lithe tannins. This feels very harmonious with an almost satin-like texture, gentle grip with superb tension on the finish. This has always been one of Mortet's best "entry-level" cuvées and this has real class and pixelation. Give it 2-3 years in bottle for it to show its best. Wonderful." - 91-93pts Neal Martin, Vinous ---- "All the vines are at the northern end of the appellation, from outside the winery through to Brochon. This emblematic cuvée sees 25% new wood and one third whole bunch vinification. Dense purple, with a reserved nose, which is biding its time, nonetheless suggesting that all is in place. The fruit profile sits perfectly on the cusp of red and black, with a touch of liquorice, excellent length, and an admirable finish. I love the reserved quality of this wine, which will develop beautifully in the long term. Tasted: November 2020." - 92-95 & 5 star, Jasper Morris, MW ---- "This is at once earthier and more reserved with its combination of red and dark berries along with hints of game, underbrush and a forest floor character. There is a bit more volume to the dense and intense medium-bodied flavors that also exude evident minerality on the chiseled and wonderfully refreshing finish. The supporting tannins are noticeably firmer, and this is going to require at least some patience. Recommended as this too is an excellent villages." - Outstanding, Burghound ---- "All the vines are at the northern end of the appellation, from outside the winery through to Brochon. 2019 Nuits-Saint-Georges
Nuits-Saint-Georges ---- "The 2019 Nuits-Saint-Georges Village offers up notes of plums, sweet spices, raw cocoa and forest floor, followed by a medium to full-bodied, lively and charming palate that's round and velvety. As readers may remember, this derives from four lieux-dits in the south of the appellation." - 90pts WA

2022 Vosne-Romanee
"A discreet though not imperceptible dollop of wood can be found on the more floral-infused aromas of various red berries, exotic tea and hoisin. The super-sleek medium-bodied flavors possess ample minerality and a taut muscularity while delivering impressive length on the moderately austere, compact and impressively long finale. This is an outstanding Vosne villages that is built-to-age; besides Aux Réas always needs time in bottle and this one will be no exception." - Outstanding, Burghound ---- "A lighter purple. Here the whole bunches show more on the nose, giving a softer touch to the bouquet. Impressive density behind, raspberry and crushed strawberry grow to the back of the palate. Length and some class. Drink from 2028-2035. Tasted: October 2023." - 4/5 Stars Jasper Morris MW

2018 Nuits-St-Georges Aux St. Juliens
Nuits-St-Georges Aux St. Juliens ----"A pretty and more elegant nose reveals notes of both red and dark currant that are suffused with soft spice and floral nuances. There is slightly better concentration to the caressing middle weight flavors where a hint of minerality arises on the solidly complex, lingering and youthfully austere finale. This mouth coating effort is sufficiently firm that it will need at least a few years to unwind. Outstanding." - BH

2019 NSG Aux Saints-Juliens
NSG Aux Saints-Juliens ---- "Aromas of raspberries, plums, raw cocoa, exotic spices and loamy soil introduce Julien's 2019 Nuits-Saint-Georges Aux Saints-Juliens, a medium to full-bodied, lively wine that's a touch more concentrated and tightly wound than Julien's blended communal Nuits-Saint-Georges. It will reward a modicum of bottle age." - 90+pts WA
