2012
"An extraordinarily spicy, fresh and ripe nose features notes of dark pinot fruit, floral, sandalwood and exotic pekoe tea. There is excellent phenolic maturity to the supporting structure that is remarkably fine-grained which adds to the overall sense of refinement present on the delicious yet powerful and altogether serious middle weight plus flavors that terminate in a gorgeously persistent finish. Like the Clos de Vougeot this is going to require ample cellaring for it to reveal its full, and considerable, potential." - 94pts Burghound

2017 Mazoyeres-Chambertin
"A discreet application of wood sets off the ultra-fresh blend of both red and blue pinot fruit, forest floor and suggestions of sauvage character. Here too there is excellent size, weight and power to the well-delineated and solidly stony flavors that possess lovely balance and persistence along with excellent complexity on the impressive long, linear and serious finale. This tightly wound effort will require extended patience but it's certainly promising." - 94pts Burghound

"Deep ruby color. A very ripe yet wonderfully fresh and expressive nose features notes of cassis, plum, black cherry and a broad array of spice nuances. There is a highly seductive mouth feel to the velvet-textured, powerful and robust big-bodied flavors that display plenty of minerality and drive on the exceptionally persistent finish. It's relatively rare that Ponsot's Chapelle surpasses his Griotte but in 2012 it appears to have just a bit more depth of material. We will of course see in time but this certainly appears very promising." - 92-95pts/Don't Miss! Burghound
"Here too there is enough wood to notice though not enough to detract materially from the purity of the elegant and expressive red berry fruit liqueur, spice and earth suffused aromas. There is fine concentration to the mineral-driven, intense and well-delineated medium weight plus flavors that coat the palate with dry extract before culminating in an impeccably well-balanced and strikingly long finish. This is really lovely and should age well over the mid to long-term yet it should be approachable after only 5 to 7 years of bottle age." - 92-94pts Burghound

2019 Clos St. Denis
Clos St. Denis ---- "The 2019 Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru is made with 100% whole bunches and matured in used oak this year and that is evident on the nose with open, transparent scents of blackberry, briary and crushed rock aromas. Less opulent than the Clos de la Roche, this is slightly more austere but no less captivating. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit, great depth and cohesion, structured towards the finish with touches of melted tar and tobacco. Superb." - 95-97pts Vinous

2017 Charmes-Chambertin
"A cool and beautifully pure if somewhat reticent nose grudgingly offers up a ripe and fresh array of dark berry, cherry, raspberry, spice, forest floor, herbal tea and a floral top note. There is excellent drive to the sizeable medium weight flavors that flash focused power on the wonderfully refreshing finish that is presently compact and very tightly wound. Patience advised." - 93pts Burghound
