"The very pretty nose is spicier still with its cool and broad-ranging panoply of aromas that include red cherry, violet and just a hint of earth. There is very fine volume to the refined, intense and gorgeously textured flavors that possess excellent depth and flat-out superb persistence. This is a Griotte of finesse but make no mistake, it has the underlying material and balance to age for years. A knockout." - Don't Miss!, Burghound ---- "There are fully two and a half barrels of the 2022 Griotte-Chambertin Grand Cru, a deep and multidimensional wine redolent of sweet berries, plums, vine smoke, rose petals and exotic spices. Full-bodied, satiny and suave, with a layered, textural core of sweet fruit framed by melting tannins, it's seamless and enveloping, concluding with an expansive finish." - 96-98pts WA

2017 Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru Croix Rameau
From 0.202 hectares of 40 year old vines on clayey-sand and a Bajocian limestone bed; Croix Rameau is the smallest 1er cru in Vosne-Romanee, just .6 hectares located in the north-east corner against the pillar and cross erected by the monks of the Abbey of St Vivant also honoring JeanPhilippe Rameau renowned for his sacred music. The site is surrounded on 3 sides by Romanee St. Vivant! There is a movement afoot among the growers here to have the site re-designated as part of that great Grand Cru. Should this occur, the wines grown here will instantly double in price. "Transparent garnet. Very pretty, lively, blackcurrant and cranberry nose with admirable freshness. (I am tasting this in high temperatures so have chilled the bottle.) Light but definitely present tannins. I'd say this wine is only just ready to drink and will develop still more complexity. Admirably vivacity in this wine and a neat, confident finish. Only medium body but really very impressive finish. I think you can taste the superiority of the site." - Jancis Robinson MW

2018 Grand Cru
"The 2018 Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru includes 30% whole bunch with 80% new oak. It has a backward, bashful bouquet that gradually opens to reveal blackberry, boysenberry and light cassis aromas and wonderful mineralité and focus. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy red currant and cranberry fruit on the entry. Linear for a Bonnes-Mares, with outstanding tension and energy on the finish. Stunning." - 95-97pts Vinous
