2022 Villages
"A much more floral-suffused nose speaks of wild red currant, spice and more subtle hints of earth and the sauvage. There is a lovely sense of underlying tension to the rich and suave medium-bodied flavors that retain good detail on the mildly austere and rustic finale." - Burghound

Bourgogne Blanc La Plante des Champs - "Pale primrose with a pretty floral nose with a little bit of barrel toast. The oak is fine rather than heavy and makes for a delicious Bourgogne, which fills the mouth very nicely. Drink from 2024-2026. Tasted: October 2022." - 4/5 stars Jasper Morris
"The Bourgogne has just been fined. Pale colour. Both floral and full of fruit on the nose, giving one an immediate desire to drink it. Just a little bacon fat at the finish, otherwise a clean ripe citrus note and a fresh apple or two. Very nice. Drink from 2024-2027. Tasted Nov 2023." - 4/5 stars, Jasper Morris MW

"The Bourgogne comes from three plots below Vosne. A deeper dark crimson to purple. The fruit has a more solid depth to it on the nose, a darker fruit than the Hautes Côtes de Nuits. Just sniffing it absolutely makes me smile. This is the sort of vintage which brings the density which the Anne Gros style needs. Degenerate vines help concentrate the fruit, Paul notes. Drink from 2025-2028. Tasted Nov 2023." - 5/5 stars, Jasper Morris MW

2022 Cote de Nuits Villages
"From three sites of vines purchased in 1930: Les Plantes du Bois, La Dominode and La Julbigne. Average vine age >70 years. 30% whole clusters, 40% new oak. Cask sample. Mid ruby. Wild strawberry and forest fruits, and just a touch denser than Les Esssards. Richness on the palate and fine tannins to fill out the back palate. Good wine, really inviting and endearing." - 16.5/20 Jancis

"50-year-old vines planted in 1972. First vintage as a single cuvée in 2021. 30% whole bunch, 40% new oak. Cask sample. Mid ruby. A touch closed on the nose. Sweet compact fruit and all very balanced. Lovely, sweet but refined tannins enveloping evidently rich, rounded fruits on the palate. Charming and just veering towards hedonistic." - 16.5/20 Jancis

2020 Marsannay
Marsannay - "The 2020 Marsannay Les Crais wafts from the glass with aromas of cherries, raspberries and sweet spices. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and nicely concentrated, with ripe, powdery tannins that assert themselves on the youthfully chalky finish, this is promising." - 89-91pts William Kelley, WA
