"The Bourgogne comes from three plots below Vosne. A deeper dark crimson to purple. The fruit has a more solid depth to it on the nose, a darker fruit than the Hautes Côtes de Nuits. Just sniffing it absolutely makes me smile. This is the sort of vintage which brings the density which the Anne Gros style needs. Degenerate vines help concentrate the fruit, Paul notes.
