2007 Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
"The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Private Reserve Georges de Latour is a blend of 93% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Petit Verdot and 3% Malbec. It was aged 20 months in oak, 92% French and 8% Russian. Deep garnet colored, exuberant scents come bounding from the glass with gregarious baked blackberries, warm cassis and Black Forest cake notes over loads of unsmoked cigars, camphor, Chinese five spice and dried sage nuances plus a waft of woodsmoke. Wonderfully full-bodied, rich and concentrated (with an alcohol of 15.5%), it is jam-packed with baked blue and black fruit preserves flavors plus tons of exotic spice sparks, framed with a solid foundation of firm, grainy tannins and a lovely line of freshness, finishing long and mineral laced." - 97pts WA

2007
"A proprietary blend of 69% Merlot, 28% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Petit Verdot is the 2007 Tenacious (1,800 cases produced). Surprisingly elegant as well as full-bodied and deep, it exhibits a dense ruby/purple color followed by a sweet nose of subtle spicy oak intermixed with chocolate, mocha, plum, and Chinese black tea, deep, fleshy flavors, and striking freshness. This impressive, well-made red should drink nicely for a decade or more." - 92pts WA

1997
"Ultrarich and chocolaty, with layers of cedar, plum, currant and black cherry, revealing uncommon depth and tiers of flavor as it picks up coffee, toffee and anise. Finishes with firm tannins. Best from 2002 through 2012. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. 13,000 cases made." - 96pts WS

2019
"A Bordeaux-inspired blend, the 2019 Yettalil Red Wine is considerably darker, deeper and richer than the Napa Valley Cabernet. Scents of cassis, pencil shavings, loam and mocha all appear on the nose, while the full-bodied palate is expansive and velvety without getting jammy or overly broad. Perhaps most important, for a wine that will presumably be consumed along savory dishes, it's nicely savory itself, with earthy notes and gentle tannins punctuating the long finish." - 94pts WA
