"This is a Chablis to serve at a slightly warmer temperature as it really opened up over the hour it sat in the glass. Its initially floral aromas add a lightly earthy and chalky note as the wine warms. Pomelo, yellow current and white raspberries all surface, too. The palate is delicate and feathery, making this one of the more airy, elegant Preuses of the vintage. Will be approachable reasonably young." - 94pts Tim Atkin

2020  Mont de Milieu

"Billaud noted that this will have about 20% wood in the final blend. Here too there is a vague whiff of the exotic to the aromas of passion fruit, white peach, mineral reduction and shrimp shell scents. There is again very good density to the intense big-bodied flavors that possess a caressing but muscular finish that coats the palate. Sechet V.V. comes from a .60 ha holding of 90+ year old vines ---- "This is also aromatically cool and restrained with its overtly citrus-suffused aromas of ripe white orchard fruit, iodine and ocean breeze. There is borderline painful intensity to the dense, sappy and markedly stony flavors that conclude in a strikingly long, moderately dry and well-balanced finale. "Lovely density and richness, with a nose showing ripe apricots, a hint of lemon peel and just a bit of butter. The texture is creamy and dense but not lacking in tension. Regal, substantial, but always elegant. This is made with the white grapes from the Senard monopole of the Clos des Meix, now biodynamically farmed. It is a blend of 85% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Beurrot (Pinot Gris). The wine is rather quickly pressed and vinified without sulphur until the malolactic fermentation is complete. Ageing is in 350-litre casks (half new)." - 96pts, Charles Curtis MW

An MFW favorite! From 0.5 hectares in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger Champs d’Alouettes and Ambonnay Grandes Ruelles, which are both Grand Cru parcels. 60% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir fermented in used barrels. Monumental and vigorous, mouth-filling and near-perfect - its seamless, lingering finish makes this great Grand Cru a show-stopper.

2005  Gonet-Médeville Extra Brut

Moderately golden. A ripe, mature and penetrating nose of citrus, floral notes and white peach introduces rather rich, round and voluminous flavors that possess a moderate effervescence along with excellent complexity while terminating in a mouth coating finish. Monumental and vigorous, mouth-filling and near-perfect - its seamless, lingering finish makes this great Grand Cru a show-stopper. 60% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir fermented in used barrels. Monumental and vigorous, mouth-filling and near-perfect.

Bourgogne Blanc La Plante des Champs - "Pale primrose with a pretty floral nose with a little bit of barrel toast. The oak is fine rather than heavy and makes for a delicious Bourgogne, which fills the mouth very nicely. Drink from 2024-2026. Tasted: October 2022." - 4/5 stars Jasper Morris

2021  Puligny-Montrachet

Note: this is a blend of all of the domaine's vineyards and hence the name; as was the case in 2020, only magnums will be produced in 2021 ---- "An airy and quite pretty array is comprised by notes of floral, pear, apple and citrus nuances are framed by a moderate application of wood. There is a wonderfully succulent mouthfeel to the beautifully textured medium weight flavors that exhibit a fine bead of minerality on the balanced, chiseled, nicely dry and lingering finale that is ever-so-mildly austere at present.
