2019 Chambolle-Musigny
"Almost invariably the finest wine in the range, Sigaut's 2019 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Sentiers Vieilles Vignes doesn't disappoint, unwinding in the glass with notes of black cherry, wild berries, Indian spices and rose petals. Medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, it's layered and velvety, with excellent concentrated, lively acids and the most integrated profile of all these 2019s." - 93+pts WA

2020 Chambolle-Musigny
"The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Les Sentiers 1er Cru, courtesy of 70-year-old vines, is much more backward on the nose compared to the Noirots, but no less complex with lovely forest floor and wild mushroom scents interpolated amongst the dark fruit. There is something almost autumnal here. The palate is fresh and lightly spiced with a dash of white pepper, cohesive and structured with a very persistent finish. Excellent." - 94pts Vinous

2021 Chambolle-Musigny 1er
"A discreet application of wood sets off attractively layered aromas of plum, earth, floral nuances and subtle spice hints. There is lovely richness and punch to the well-detailed mineral-inflected flavors that possess a mouth coating and mildly austere finish that delivers excellent persistence. This is more powerful if less refined than the Fuées that also offers fine development potential." - Outstanding, Burghound

"The 2019 Chambolle-Musigny Les Bussières Vieilles Vignes is Sigaut's finest communal-level bottling this year, wafting from the glass with aromas of plums and raspberries mingled with hints of cinnamon and potpourri. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and enveloping, with an ample core of succulent fruit and powdery structuring tannins, it's seamless and complete." - 91pts WA

2021 Chambolle-Musigny
"Firm reduction pushes the fruit to the background at present. Otherwise, there is slightly better mid-palate volume to the delicious medium-bodied flavors that are less refined though noticeably more powerful and more complex on the balanced, firm and solidly persistent finale. This is half Chambolle and half Morey in character and is worth considering." - Outstanding, Burghound

2019
"The 2019 Fixin La Place has a ripe blackberry and raspberry-scented bouquet with still a bit of oak to be subsumed. The palate is rounded on the entry, ripe and rounded with fine acidity, fleshy with a nicely poised, dark cherry and blueberry finish. Lovely." - VM

"Notes of anise and humus add interest to the slightly riper yet still fresh aromas of poached plum, raspberry and pungent earth. There is once again very good volume to the solidly concentrated and tautly muscular flavors that possess a relatively seductive texture that contrasts with firm, serious and youthfully austere finale that is noticeably more structured. This is a wine of textural contrasts as the finish is firm yet almost delicate and overall, this is a fine Nuits villages that has an established track record of aging well. Recommended." - Outstanding, BH

2021
"A pungent nose is comprised by wood toast and firm reduction. Much more interesting are the impressively dense and sappy larger-bodied flavors that possess both excellent power and volume, all wrapped in a beautifully long and balanced finale. Like several wines in the range, this is on the oaky side but the mid-palate density appears to be present for it to be successfully integrated with time in bottle. Lovely potential." - Outstanding, Burghound

Bourgogne Blanc La Plante des Champs - "Pale primrose with a pretty floral nose with a little bit of barrel toast. The oak is fine rather than heavy and makes for a delicious Bourgogne, which fills the mouth very nicely. Drink from 2024-2026. Tasted: October 2022." - 4/5 stars Jasper Morris

2021 Puligny-Montrachet
Puligny-Montrachet - "Two barrels made. Medium lemon and lime. Softly perfumed, the oak showing a little, as it does also in a drier finish, but there is a good density of white fruit, pears and apples. Drink from 2024-2027. Tasted: October 2022." - Jasper Morris

Note: this is a blend of all of the domaine's vineyards and hence the name; as was the case in 2020, only magnums will be produced in 2021 ---- "An airy and quite pretty array is comprised by notes of floral, pear, apple and citrus nuances are framed by a moderate application of wood. There is a wonderfully succulent mouthfeel to the beautifully textured medium weight flavors that exhibit a fine bead of minerality on the balanced, chiseled, nicely dry and lingering finale that is ever-so-mildly austere at present. Very good quality here in an ageworthy package." - Outstanding, Burghound

"Picked 28th September. A rich, indeed sumptuous purple. Exceptionally youthful bouquet with a little touch of new wood. A magical wine, which is entirely in balance. It is not just the concentration which moves to another level but the sublime and effortless suavity of texture. All in pure red fruit, nothing dark, my favourite alpine strawberries, but a host of other berries as well. Magical. Drink from 2030-2040." - 96-99pts Jasper Morris (96-98 Vinous & 97 John Gilman)
