"This is now a 30,000 bottle cuvée coming from 5 plots on the Brochon side of the appellation with vines averaging 50 to 60 years old. Impressive dense purple, this has a magical suavity of dark dense fruit with elegance and balance, really classy. I was going to say that Mes Cinq Terroirs was a textbook Gevrey but it is better than that. Tasted: November 2019." - 5/5 Stars, Jasper Morris MW

"Half new wood and 40% whole bunch. Bright ruby purple. Little bouquet as yet, and the samples are cold. At the moment the density of the wine shows more than the subtlety, though I think that the detail is certainly there. More in red fruit than black. This may just be at too early a stage and there could be further upside to the Echezeaux. Drink from 2032-2038. Tasted: November 2023." - 92-95pts Jasper Morris MW

2019 NSG 1er Cru Les Bousselots
NSG 1er Cru Les Bousselots ---- "The old-vine 2019 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Les Bousselots is very promising, mingling aromas of cherries, cassis and sweet berry fruit with hints of cinnamon, dark chocolate and truffle. Medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated, it's seamless and elegant, with succulent acids and a broad, expansive finish." - 92pts WA

2021 NSG 1er Cru Bousselots
NSG 1er Cru Bousselots ---- "Slightly more prominent wood surrounds the spicy aromas of red and blue pinot fruit that are cut with evident earth and forest floor nuances. There is excellent mid-palate density to the bigger-bodied and powerful flavors that conclude in a firm, serious and sneaky long finale that is not especially austere. As is virtually always true with Bousselots, this is definitely going to need at least moderate patience." - 91-93/Outstanding Top Value, Burghound

2014
"Notably ripe but brooding and somber aromas of spice, raspberry liqueur, warm earth and violet struggle somewhat against the generous oak treatment. Otherwise there is excellent volume and power to the big-bodied and muscular flavors that display solid detail before terminating in an extremely firm, vibrant and quite serious finish that possesses simply stunning depth and persistence. As the description suggests this is not entirely harmonious at present but the underlying material is so good that this explosive effort should eventually be nothing short of remarkable." - 95pts Burghound
