The palate is round and supple with cooling acidity and ripe wild berries cascading throughout, leaving a sweet spice tinge toward the close. This finishes with remarkable freshness, a gentle sour citrus twang, and slowly fading hints of red plum. Chambolle-Musigny - "The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Clos de Village, which comes from a 0.5-hectare of vines, had not been racked. It has a cool, tertiary, tobacco-tinged bouquet - something almost autumnal about this Chambolle. The palate is medium-bodied with a touch of cracked black pepper on the entry. The 40% whole bunch here just needs more time to integrate and allow the limestone soils to show through on the finish. Fine, but it will need bottle age." 90-92pts Vinous
