"The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Les Sentiers 1er Cru, courtesy of 70-year-old vines, is much more backward on the nose compared to the Noirots, but no less complex with lovely forest floor and wild mushroom scents interpolated amongst the dark fruit. There is something almost autumnal here. The palate is fresh and lightly spiced with a dash of white pepper, cohesive and structured with a very persistent finish. Excellent." - 94pts Vinous

This is a wine of textural contrasts as the finish is firm yet almost delicate and overall, this is a fine Nuits villages that has an established track record of aging well.
