2022 Jubile 30 Ans
Jubile 30 Ans ---- (5,251 bottles produced) - Special Label to mark the 30th vintage since taking over from Henri, vineyard source is the same as La Rue de Vergy. ---- "An intense purple with lighter rim. I am not getting much nose off this yet. The Morey has the saline note which can come from whole bunch vinification. Overall, this has an element of altitude, plus the minerality of the site, plus the richness of the Christophe Perrot-Minot style. Drink from 2029-2036. Tasted: November 2023." - 91-94 & 4/5 stars, Jasper Morris MW

2022 Jubile 30 Ans Vieilles Vignes
Jubile 30 Ans Vieilles Vignes ---- (1,491 bottles produced) - Special Label to mark the 30th vintage since taking over from Henri, vineyard source is the same as Orme des Chalandins. ---- "A glowing purple colour. The bouquet suggests a fine and svelte wine, with a delicious white pepper seasoning to the concentrated red berry fruit. Splendidly intense in a very balanced way, raspberry and strawberry working together with also some of the ripe red cherry notes I am finding in this vintage. A fine Vosne with pleasing density. Drink from 2029-2036. Tasted: November 2023." - 91-94 & 4/5 stars, Jasper Morris MW

2012
"Deep ruby color. A very ripe yet wonderfully fresh and expressive nose features notes of cassis, plum, black cherry and a broad array of spice nuances. There is a highly seductive mouth feel to the velvet-textured, powerful and robust big-bodied flavors that display plenty of minerality and drive on the exceptionally persistent finish. It's relatively rare that Ponsot's Chapelle surpasses his Griotte but in 2012 it appears to have just a bit more depth of material. We will of course see in time but this certainly appears very promising." - 92-95pts/Don't Miss! Burghound

2010
"There is superb size and weight to the imposing and overtly muscular flavors that also enjoy an incredible amount of dry extract that confers a supple and seductively textured mouth feel to the highly concentrated mid-palate. The presently buried tannins are intense and markedly firm though not hard on the explosively long finish that seems to go on and on. This should be something very special if given sufficient time to reach its apogee." - 95-97pts/Don't Miss! Burghound

"Interestingly this is even spicier with its own very broad array of spice elements that seemingly change with each whiff of the markedly ripe nose. The ripeness carries over to the dense, serious and overtly powerful big-bodied and imposingly scaled flavors that also possess seemingly unlimited reserves of palate coating dry extract that impart a velvety texture but also buffer the very firm tannins on the massively persistent finish. This is a big wine even by the outsized standards of a great Clos de la Roche yet the balance is faultless. This should be great in time." - 95-97pts/Don't Miss! Burghound

2013
"This is also absolutely stunning in every respect and displays a kaleidoscopic combination that is not quite as spicy as the Clos St. Denis though it is earthier and almost as complex. It is immediately clear that this is a bigger and more powerful wine that possesses outstanding mid-palate density and a huge reserve of dry extract that imparts a seductive mouth feel and mostly buffers the exceptionally firm tannic spine on the massively long finish. This is an imposing effort that is even more imposingly structured and there is no point in buying this if you're not prepared to forget it in the back of your cellar for at least a decade, and two to three would be preferable. This is a stunner of a Clos de la Roche and it will be interesting to see which of the two Ponsot big boys is ultimately the better wine." - 94-97pts/Don't Miss! Burghound
