"Another utterly classic wine from this estate is the 2019 Saint Joseph La Dame Brune, which comes from old vines near the border of Saint-Joseph and Condrieu. Vinified and aged in older barrels, it has a darker fruited, peppery core as well as lots of salty, meaty, and bouquet garni-like nuances. Medium-bodied on the palate, the tannins here are nicely integrated, it has plenty of mid-palate depth, and a great finish." - 93pts, Jeb Dunnuck
