Gevrey-Chambertin ---- "A markedly floral-suffused and exuberantly fresh combination is composed by notes of various red berries, earth and a hint of underbrush. Village -- "Whereas the famous Cinq Terroirs cuvée from Domaine Denis Mortet hails from the Brochon side of Gevrey-Chambertin, Arnaud Mortet's 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin Village hails from the southern end of the appellation, giving a sunnier, more open-knit expression of Gevrey. The wine offers up aromas of plums, cherries and dark chocolate, subtly framed by new wood, followed by a medium-bodied, ample and giving palate that will offer immediate gratification to the impatient." - Wine Advocate

2017  Gevrey-Chambertin

"The 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru is also very expressive, bursting with aromas of orange rind, peony and wild berries. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, pure and satiny, with a layered mid-palate, good depth and concentration and an elegant, fragrant profile. Mortet opted to manually cut out the central stems for one-quarter of this cuvée, retaining the pedicels." - 90-93pts WA

2018  Grand Cru

"The 2018 Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru includes 30% whole bunch with 80% new oak. It has a backward, bashful bouquet that gradually opens to reveal blackberry, boysenberry and light cassis aromas and wonderful mineralité and focus. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy red currant and cranberry fruit on the entry. Linear for a Bonnes-Mares, with outstanding tension and energy on the finish. Stunning." - 95-97pts Vinous

There is terrific vibrancy to the tension-filled medium weight flavors that brim with minerality on the highly refreshing finish that is sufficiently rich and pliant that this could be enjoyed after only a few years of bottle age. 1er Cru Les Champeaux -- "Typically one of the broadest-shouldered wines in the cellar, the 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Champeaux was lightly reduced on the day that I tasted it, unwinding in the glass to reveal plenty of red-black fruit and savory nuance. On the palate, the wine was easier to read, displaying a medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated profile, with excellent amplitude, juicy acids and a long, delineated finish. It's a definite success." - 91-93+pts WA -- "This too is strongly reduced. The medium weight and lively flavors possess a comparatively refined mouthfeel and plenty of minerality on the firmer if less muscular finish where a touch of wood toast can be found. This too will require at least some patience and reward up to 15 years of it." - 90-93pts/Outstanding BH

Mes Cinq Terroirs -- "Once again there is a discreet but not invisible touch of wood framing the notably earthier and more deeply pitched aromas of both red and dark currant and forest floor nuances. There is fine intensity and solid concentration to the vibrant middle weight flavors that reflect ample minerality, all wrapped in a focused, complex and lengthy finish that flashes unusually good power for a villages level wine. As it usually is, this is a fine effort and well worth considering." - 89-91pts/Outstanding BH
