Romanee Saint-Vivant Grand Cru -- "An overtly floral, elegant and airy nose displays a huge array of spice elements on the red currant, cherry, tea, hoisin and lavender scents. The super-refined middle weight flavors possess a gorgeously sophisticated mouth feel that is at once silky yet packing plenty of punch that continues onto the harmonious finish where the persistence lasts for several minutes. I was knocked out by the palate impression because when RSV is "on", the finesse is unmatched by any of the other grands crus in Burgundy.
