From 87 year old vines ---- "Dense purple black. This is usually the outstanding cuvée and once again the nose promises very well, Dark fruit, concentrated but not too ripe, a little bit of black cherry, then some ripe strawberry, easily enough fruit to surround the tannins, just the right acidity. More muscle than the Vosne, but very well balanced for a medium to long term future." - 4/5 stars Jasper Morris
