"The 2020 Chambolle-Musigny Les Sentiers 1er Cru, courtesy of 70-year-old vines, is much more backward on the nose compared to the Noirots, but no less complex with lovely forest floor and wild mushroom scents interpolated amongst the dark fruit. There is something almost autumnal here. The palate is fresh and lightly spiced with a dash of white pepper, cohesive and structured with a very persistent finish. Excellent." - 94pts Vinous

Otherwise, there is slightly better mid-palate volume to the delicious medium-bodied flavors that are less refined though noticeably more powerful and more complex on the balanced, firm and solidly persistent finale.
