2022 Cote D'Or Chadonnay
"Very pretty aromas are comprised by notes of freshly cut citrus, white peach and a background hint of petrol character. The super-sleek, delicious and attractively vibrant middleweight flavors conclude in an agreeably dry and sneaky long finish. This is very good for its level and worth checking out plus it should repay a few years of keeping." - Outstanding, Burghound

2022 Beaune 1er Cru Les Vignes Franches
"A more elegant and fresher if still decidedly ripe nose combines notes of pretty floral and very pinot scents trimmed in discreet spice wisps. The caressing and markedly finer medium-bodied flavors possess reasonably good density for young vines while delivering solid depth and length on the more structured finale. This is very Beaune in style while retaining good balance. Worth a look." - Outstanding, Burghound

2022 Meursault
"A very Meursault-like notes freely expresses elegant and pure aromas of apple, pear, exotic tea and hazelnut. The gorgeously textured middleweight flavors exude a subtle minerality on the utterly delicious and more complex finale that is very well-balanced. This is an excellent villages and one to look for." - Outstanding, Burghound

2022 1er Cru Blanc
"The 2022 Meursault Blagny 1er Cru has a complex bouquet with mineral-driven citrus fruit and hints of honeysuckle developing in the glass. The palate is very well-balanced with a sapid entry. A little resinous in texture, there is plenty of extract, underlying the complex, stem ginger and lemon thyme-tinged finish. Give this plenty of bottle age, and there is very good potential." - Outstanding, Burghound

2022
"An intense bright fresh purple. Quite punchy on the nose, in a good way, and with a certain amount of oak showing on the palate. Good acidity, more than tannins, and a fresh vigorous red berry fruit throughout. Drink from 2027-2033. Tasted: October 2023." - 4/5 stars Jasper Morris MW

2022 Volnay 1er Cru Les Aussy
"A discreet but perceptible dollop of wood sets off an equally pretty and even spicier mélange of ripe red berries trimmed in subtle floral nuances, in particular violet. The delicious and wonderfully refined middleweight flavors are quite graceful thanks to the fine-grained tannins supporting the impressively long finale that fans out as it sits on the palate. If this can add depth with time in bottle, my rating may prove to be too conservative." - Outstanding, Burghound

2015 Vosne-Romanee 1er
"Generous but not dominant wood tussles somewhat with the spiced plum liqueur, Asian-style tea and violet-scented nose. There is a wonderfully seductive mouth feel to the rich, velvety and sappy medium weight plus flavors that brim with dry extract and minerality on the lingering finale where the firm tannic spine arrives in a rush. In contrast to the Nuits 1er, this moderately muscular effort is less likely to make for a good early drinker." - Outstanding, Burghound ---- "Intense, yet with finesse and detail, this red is sophisticated, complex and alluring. Cherry and strawberry fruit and mineral and oak spice flavors mingle on an elegant frame, while a subtle yet supportive structure balances the whole. Stays persistent from start to finish. Best from 2022 through 2047. 250 cases made, 55 cases imported." - 95pts WS

2022 Puligny 1er Cru Hameau de Blagny
"Our Puligny-Montrachet 1er cru Hameau de Blagny is rich, with a beautiful minerality, a pale yellow color, gourmet notes of almond paste, vanilla, hazelnuts, white flowers. On the palate, the balance is there, with a long and complex finish, on notes of peppermint, citrus fruits. All its personality will be expressed in 2 to 3 years." ---- From 50 yr old vines that lie on only .17 ha of clay-limestone soil with cool evening exposure due to the high elevation of the plot.
