2017 Les Epenots
Les Epenots -- "Once again there are ample wood and menthol notes surrounding the more elegant nose of ripe red berries, spice and warm earth nuances. The caressing and delicious flavors are not as dense but they're definitely more refined and I particularly like the texture of the impressively persistent finish. This needs to add depth but it seems like a relatively sure bet that it will. Lovely." - 91-93pts/Sweet Spot Burghound

2013 Clos des Cortons
Clos des Cortons ---- "A generous dollop of moderately toasty oak mixes with the highly layered nose of black cherry, cassis, warm earth and an impressive array of sauvage and underbrush notes. There is excellent richness to the overtly powerful and muscular flavors that possess an imposing sense of scale that continues onto the textured and mouth coating finish. Like several of the wines in the range in 2013 this is a big but not really massive wine that retains a sense of proportion even though the underlying structure is quite firm. This will need plenty of patience however." - 93-95pts/Don't Miss, Burghound

2010 1er Cru, Rugiens
International Wine Cellar 92-95 "Good full, bright red. Subtle, high-pitched aromas of cherry, tobacco, leather and dried rose. Sweet, creamy and deep, with some CO2 adding to the impression of freshness. Wonderfully perfumed, very long wine, finishing with outstanding finesse of tannins, complex saline soil tones, and terrific energy and lift. Pommard without a whisper of rusticity." ~S.T.

2020 Hautes Cotes de Beaune
Hautes Cotes de Beaune ---- A blend of 2 plots including one of mine, Les Chevrières located on the village of Savigny, fresh terroir, old vine, it’s my little garden. The other part is coming from a top location overlooking St Aubin. ---- A very recent estate with 2020 as the first vintage for Bastien Gautheron, a former winemaker from Beaune who previously cut his teeth at Olivier Leflaive. Bastien is part of this generation of young winegrowers seeking to transcribe the link between terroir and vineyard thanks to a non-interventionist vinification.
