2010 Beaune 1er Rouge
"Strong reduction knocks down the nose but there is excellent volume and phenolic maturity to the supporting structure shaping the suave and mouth coating flavors that are perhaps the richest of any of these Beaune 1ers. The volume and energy are impressive as is the length and this should age for many years." - 90-92/Outstanding Burghound

"Relatively strong reduction dominates the nose at present and prevents a thorough assessment. By contrast, there is good freshness and ample verve to the exceptionally rich, powerful and borderline massive flavors that enjoy support in the form of a very concentrated mid-palate and a notably firm tannic spine that imparts a chewy texture to the hugely long, mouth coating and tannic finish. This is breathtakingly good though like any self-respecting Clos du Roi, to note that it will need plenty of bottle age is largely superfluous.' - 92-95pts BH

2012 Cuvee de la Mesange
Cuvee de la Mesange --"A ripe and very fresh nose features notes of mostly green apple and soft floral hints. There is good concentration and punch to the attractively detailed and intense flavors that exude a fine bead of minerality onto the delicious, balanced and notably dry finish." - Burghound

2015
"A fresh and appealingly layered nose is composed by notes of apple compote and citrus zest. There is both solid volume and richness to the middle weight flavors that offer very fine verve on the lingering finale that is more complex than is typical for the appellation. Worth considering and note that it would make for a fine all-around house white." - 87/Outstanding Top Value BH

2015 Grand Cru
"Here too there is a hint of menthol present on the notably spicier dark berry liqueur-like aromas that also display plenty of earth and game characters. The sleek and delicious middle weight flavors are slightly less concentrate and powerful though at the same time they're more obviously mineral-driven, all wrapped in an even firmer if not longer finale. While qualitatively similar, this and the Paulands offer two very different drinking experiences. Patience." - 91-93pts BH

"A slightly riper and definitely spicier nose offers up notes of essence of plum, violet and freshly turned earth. The rich, full-bodied and solidly powerful imposingly-scaled flavors once again brim with dry extract as the old vines are very much in evidence, all wrapped in a strikingly persistent finish. This is a relatively rare Corton that is clearly built for the long-term yet the richness and sap are such that this should also be approachable after only 5-ish years or so." - 92-94pts BH
