California Cabernet with class. This is a serious effort, 93% Cabernet & 7% Cabernet Franc. A refreshing, distinctly Bordeaux-like profile. The story goes that the vineyard from which the fruit for this wine is sourced is the one where pioneering enologist Andre Tchelistcheff origunally coined the expression "Rutherford Dust." 2007 is a great vintage, is drinking now and has nowhere to go but up! Frog's Leap is dry-farmed and organic (since 1988) & the winery is 100% solar-powered. And they're also very old-school.
