There are always exciting new things happening that you might miss and there are wineries that have been doing great things for centuries that you may have never even heard of!  We taste so much great wine.  We want to share these discoveries with you.  Let us turn you on to the next bottle you didn’t expect to get excited about.         

Getting a few new bottles to try Every Other Month is something to look forward to!

THERE ARE LOTS OF WINE CLUBS  - HOW IS THE MFW TASTING GROUP DIFFERENT?      Most wine clubs offer low-value wines - nothing in the case costs more than $12, etc.  That’s not who we are.  MFW offers fine and rare wines - special, usually expensive wines. Offering a wine club is our opportunity to hand-sell compelling wines priced more at the everyday-drinking level for our clients –around $20 per bottle.

1st: It doesn’t make sense to pay to ship a $12 bottle. 

2nd: A $12 bottle doesn’t carry a lot of risk.  You can walk into any wine shop and any $12 bottle you pick up will likely be very drinkable.

3rd: The $12 bottle is drinkable, but not very interesting.   We want to broaden your horizons & offer wines you wouldn’t seek out on your own – tap into your inner wine geek.   The $20 bottle of Austrian Grüner Veltliner is definitely more interesting than the $12 Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon you’d get through another club.  So are the Valtellina Superiore and the Blaterle from the Alto Adige.

5th: We have no need to sell large volumes of discounted wine.  Again, MFW offers fine and rare wines. We offer a wine club for fun.  We pick the wines ourselves - we don’t contract out to some fulfillment house somewhere else.  We like interesting wines & want to share them.  Simple.

HERE's HOW IT WORKS:

You let us pick 3 new wines for you to try Every Other Month (Jan, Mar, May, July, Sept, Nov).  Selections may be International or Domestic, red, white or rose (in-season).

We ship the wines to you or your gift recipient on or about the 10^th of Every Other Month & your card will be charged $75 on the day of each shipment (6x per year or for the rest of your life!).

Just as in a tasting group, we’ll tell you all about the wines - the back story - who makes them, how they’re made, the grapes, the region and any reviews.
